Rolled gold necklaces were popular from 1914 until the late 1940's. These necklaces were handmade, providing work for injured soldiers returning from the war. Rolled gold is a thin layer of gold on a base metal and fused together by heating. MEASUREMENTS The necklace measures 45. 7cm 18" in length. CONDITION The necklace is in excellent vintage condition.
